Users review: This film is one of a kind. After watching this movie last week was a hole in his stomach. She left a lot of questions in my mind, and most of them can not be answered. I think a movie that makes me think of when I look at it is the second-to-none, and this movie will definitely bring this aspect.I was surprised vivid images of the film, as well as symbolism. But what makes this the best movie in 1999, is functional. Kevin Spacey shines Lester Burnham, Annette Bening (Carolyn Burnham) is not far behind. Adjuncts, as Wes Bentley (Ricky Fitts), Thora Birch (Jane Burnham), Mena Suvari (Angela Hayes) and Chris Cooper (Colonel Frank Fitts) only adds to the drama of the film. I think the most special aspect of this film is how all the characters are intertwined in a way that is credible, but brilliant at the same time. I congratulate Sam Mendes and his direction of this film, as Alan Ball to write it. I do not think it could have been R better.Rated in the United States, strong sexuality, language, drug content and violence, the film obviously deserves the ranking. However, none of the reasons R rating is dominant, and they all add to the plot of this film. Although I do not think this is a movie for children, suggest that adults should see it with an open mind. I believe the features that many of the characters of this film are found in many people around the world. Maybe that's why the film hits close to home for many viewers.While to charge some of the comedy-drama, I do not see anything so funny in this movie. Sure there are some funny moments, but in the end, those moments were all but forgotten in touch with the harsh reality of the conclusion of the events described in this film.If you want to watch a film light-hearted, some comedy and some of the elements of drama, do not Dis HDA American Beauty. But if you like movies that make you think and entertain a great cast, great management, and a great script, the film should be on top of your list.My Rating: 10/10
