Users review: Scarface has a large cult following even today, 22 years after his release.It has been widely criticized as being too tacky, unrefined, over-the-top and so bloated all! These are people that compare the film Scarface and The Godfather. It 'true that the technical front, (photography, script, direction, etc.) Scarface is late Godfather.But is also true, that what he and some other gangster movie Scarface is missing, the rawness, the sheer thugs raw and simple approach. Latino gangster in the film look more frightening and realistic than any glossy Italian or Irish gangsters from other gangster classics like The Godfather or Goodfellas. This is one of the biggest win of Scarface and I strongly believe that this fact has been deleted by many critics as tackiness! I found the original 1932 Scarface, and I must say that all these movies are too different from each other and must be seen as two different films, instead of praising initially on a remake! Al Pacino has been criticized for being too loud and sound great in this movie. But what about when you consider that this is just the way the film makers wanted to have the character of Tony Montanas! He is the angry young man who makes decisions quickly and throws a tantrum fits every minute! He will not calm Michael Corleone here. He's Tony Montana, very tacky, ignorant people who do not really think too much and get angry all the time there is definitely a very 80s feel in this movie!. soundtrack is all 80s! I love some of the songs, including Gina Elviras theme, push it to the limit and title track instrumental.There are some of the most memorable and well shot sequences, including a chainsaw popular, hit rebenga, the first meeting with Tony Sosa and his mothers.About visit to the exhibition: Al Pacino is brilliant as Cuban refugees angry. He reportedly stated that he liked to play Tony Montana in his entire career. And it really seems like he enjoyed good in all his performances! One wonders how it would be without Pacino Scarface. I just could not think of anyone else to show Tony Montana and in all probability, the film would not be effective without him Steven Bauer shines as Tony Manny.Robert Loggia is a wonderful friend like Tony boss, Lopez!. So is F. Murray Abraham (as Omar) in small role.Then there are some eye-candy, in the form of Elvira starring Michelle Pfeiffer. She looks good and sufficient in role.The its director does go a bit 'in the sea during a certain part of the vertices. Without revealing anything, I would just say that it was only a small part that suffers due to improper ndling.Scarface is definitely one of entertainment and one of the best gangster movies ever to come out. Enjoy it for what it is: a raw portrait of the drug lords and their crime!
