Users review: I thought it was the best movie Woody Allen years. The screenplay was written better than I expected from him at this point, as its new twists to the drama and laughs often gets the same amount of black humor in the characters situations quickly feature. Kudos to Cate Blanchett, who became a star performance, the actors sometimes Woodys broad interpretation of neurotic characters for comic effect, another way to play Woody (think Judy Davis), but Kate is very effective to play it right and I think the main hull as the next best Actress Oscar. For me, the biggest surprise was Andrew Dice Clay, who gives a surprisingly nuanced performance as a working class man bitterly that they were fucked by big shots, and in a certain sense, his moral character anchors the film. Good work, Woody.
