Users review: Intense drama that has 12 very different people, all men who are struggling with a murder case involving a young Puerto Rican seems cut and dried. However, Henry Fonda jury not think it is as infallible as it looks. Not voting to blame and what follows is a series of events that test pondrána opinions, beliefs and thoughts of the other 11 members. Fonda is great, but Lee J. Cobb steals every scene (and it is not easy to do in a movie like this). Ed Begley, Martin Bolsam, Jack Warden, Jack Klugman, Joseph Sweeney, EG Marshall and John Fiedler among others, trapped in a situation that is much more difficult than it seems on the surface. An excellent character study that should be taught and embraced by all current and future filmmakers. 5 stars out of 5.
