Users review: Steven Soderbergh has decided to end his career that can only be described as a pharmaceutical, psycho-sexual thriller that deals with various morally ambiguous characters, everything revolves around a terrible accident. For fear of giving away a clever plot twist-filled written by Scot Z. Burns, which is really all I can say, although I can tell you that Soderbergh directs the film with a lot of confidence, and it shows. He was able to convey a sort of quiet chaos with its frequent close-ups, and moving in-and-out of focus on the screen, he was able to attract the attention of many small but important details.the real point strength of this film, however, is not necessarily the story itself, but how it is presented. To be honest, the story is almost too clever to the point of absurdity, but it never comes off as such. Leaving only a small piece of information at a time, we all expected through interviews, hearings, red herrings, and many visits to a psychiatrist, until finally all comes together in an orderly conclusion. The whole film is very reserved, but if you pay attention, you will be rewarded during end.Of, the story would not have worked so well without a lot of impressive performances that lead all the way through. Rooney Mara new amazing as Emily Taylor, a woman who starts taking antidepressants to cope with her husband out of jail. Without giving much information, Emily is much more complex than it first appears, and Mara perfectly reproduces the conservation dark mystique about it. She steals every scene she really is, and show a range of emotions that sometimes it is difficult to say that his character is really thinking. This is unfortunate for Channing Tatum, who does a good job as his loving and sympathetic husband is trying to make things right, after the liberation for insider trading, but do not have near enough material to compete with law Mara . Jude, on the other hand, perhaps the most central figure like Dr. Jonathan Banks, Emilys psychiatrist who is thrown into a scandal when the patient is involved in a tragic accident after taking the antidepressant was prescribed for you. Slowly unravels mentally as his decision to come back to haunt him, and will eventually have to cross a couple of moral limits to get his life back on track. The law indicates that it is frustrated with the qualifications of the experts, and gives one of the best performances of his recent career. The same can be said for Catherine Zeta-Jones, who? How Emilys former psychiatrist Dr. Siebert Victoria? Gives perhaps the most difficult job, and does it brilliantly, despite his lack of a screen time.To give more say too much, as the film is so perfectly structured difficult to discuss without giving away everything. All I can add is not as easy and simple as it may seem. It is a complex of characters, their motivations and the consequences of their actions, and, despite taking a bit 'to get started, it's really impressive, exciting and challenging journey that should not be missed.
